Overview

Private garden in Danby. Drive like you're going to the Abbott Loop, then keep going and going. Before you get to 34, you'll see Myer's garden on the left.

The high point of the garden (for me anyway) is late spring / early summer. The main garden is chock full of peonies, siberian irises, columbines, geraniums, lupines, and more.

Wayne Myers has lived there since 1959, and has slowly built the garden up from when it was a farm. He's often there, and likes to chat about gardening. I try to get out there a couple times a year. Be sure to sign the guest book.

I first visited during the 2007 Open Days tour, and have been back several times.

Hours

Reasonable daytime hours. Once in a while there's a wedding, so be prepared to move on.
